Jillian is a second-year law student at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, her father’s alma mater. As a native of Kennewick, Washington, Jillian moved from tumbleweeds to the constant but beautiful rain of Oregon in 2012. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Oregon State University (go Beavs) where she sang in the all-female acapella group, “Divine” and went to many rainy Beaver football games. While a law student, Jillian is an active board member of the Women’s Law Caucus and the Multicultural Student’s Association.  Jillian’s first job as a law clerk was at the Oregon Department of Justice in Child Advocacy working on termination of parental rights cases.

Special education law has been an interest which grew out of Jillian’s time working as a camp counselor for Beats and Rhythms, an organization for children with congenital heart disease. She found herself very fortunate to hear about Wiscarson Law through a family member, and looks forward to helping families and children in special education. In her limited spare time, Jillian loves to try out new food places in Portland, read, nap, Netflix, and explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest with family and friends.
